Seller Fees
Listing is free. When your item sells, RimRevival takes a platform fee of 7.000000000000001% on the first $200 and 5% on the amount above $200. There are no monthly subscription fees or per-listing charges.
Example: You sell a rim for $400 → platform fee is 7% × $200 + 5% × $200 = $24. Stripe card-processing fee is 2.9% + $0.30 = $11.9. You receive $400 − $24 − $11.9 = $364.1.
Commercial sellers (25+ sales per month) pay 10% on the first $200 and 7% above.
Payment Processing Fee (Seller-Paid)
In addition to the platform fee, the seller pays the Stripe card-processing fee — 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction on the sale price. This is the fee Stripe charges to process the buyer's payment, and RimRevival passes it through to the seller rather than marking up the item price or the platform fee. It is deducted from your payout automatically at checkout.
The platform fee waiver during the Free with Share promo does not waive the Stripe processing fee — only RimRevival's cut is waived. The optional buyer transaction-protection add-on is not subject to the seller-paid processing fee.
Free Sales Launch — through August 14, 2026
For a two-week launch window, sellers pay $0 platform fee on every sale — no share requirement, no listing cap, no commercial restrictions — to attract sellers and build inventory. The Stripe card-processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) still applies per sale. After August 14, 2026, pricing reverts to the first 5-listings-with-share promo below.
Free with Share Promo (reverts August 14 – August 31, 2026)
After the free-sales window, sellers can skip the platform fee on their first 5 listings when the buyer checks the “I shared this listing” box at checkout. The platform fee is waived to $0 — the seller keeps the full sale price. Reverts after your 5th listing or on September 1, 2026.
Buyer Checkout
Buyers pay the listed item price plus any optional transaction protection. There is no separate buyer fee. All payments are processed through Stripe Protection, our escrow-compatible checkout that holds funds until the buyer confirms delivery and the 48-hour inspection window passes.
- Cards, wallets (Apple/Google Pay, Link), and bank transfers (ACH).
- Buy Now Pay Later — Pay in 4 installments via Afterpay/Clearpay, or pay later with Klarna.
- Optional RimRevival Protection (+$9.99) — 14-day inspection window, priority disputes (3 business days), and a prepaid return label for approved claims.
